Southport Designer Set to Wow RHS Tatton Park with Charity Garden

Award winning Southport based garden designer and installer Muddy Boots have once again entertained the crowds at the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show with a Silver Medal award winning garden which has been specially designed to help raise awareness of the North West Air Ambulance Charity.

The garden was guaranteed 'centre of attention' status thanks to a flypast by one of the air ambulance helicopters. The charity will also be lending the services of its mascot Paramedic Pub who will be on the show garden.

The ornamental show garden entitled 'On Moonlight Bay' has been designed in the Mediterranean style with planting in an array of vibrant, hot colours, striking foliage and a tantalizing view of an Italian coastline transporting visitors to warmer climes. The garden will be finished with a soothing water rill, set with stepping stones in tumbled sandstone donated by landscaping manufacturer Brett Landscaping.

Talking about the garden, Claire Skidmore of Muddy Boots, a Brett Approved Installer said: "It's going to be fantastic to see the garden come together and to see the ambulance flying overhead. We have a brilliant team working on the garden and we want to inspire visitors as to what can be achieved in their own outdoor spaces. RHS Tatton Park is the last of the season’s shows, which makes it one not to be missed for anyone wanting inspiration for their own gardens."

Jo Fowler, regional fundraiser for the North West Air Ambulance Charity added: "As a charity we receive no funding, so to keep the crucial air ambulance service up and running we rely on the awareness and generosity of the public and businesses. We are thrilled to be a part of Muddy Boot's garden and for the opportunity to use RHS Tatton Park to highlight the essential service our air ambulances in the North West perform 365 days a year."
